What to Expect..
Our worship services at Grace Community Bible Church are designed with all of God’s children in mind. Our goal is to encourage you to love and worship our Savior Jesus Christ and to help every worshiper to love the neighbors that God has graciously placed in their lives.
We offer a nursery for infants and children who have not yet attended school. We also provide a Children’s Church which is presented with preschool age children through 3rd grade students in mind although we leave attendance to the discretion of the parents. Grace loves family, and it is our passion to share the forgiveness of Jesus with every age group.
The attire at Grace Community Bible Church is comfortable and modest. Whether you arrive in a pressed suit or jeans and a t-shirt, everyone should feel accepted as they draw near to the love of God. God the Father looks for a pure heart, and so we look to the heart without focusing on the exterior.
The music in our church is carefully selected to encourage all those present to lift up their voices in praise to God. We sing modern praise and worship along with traditional hymns. Our songs align with our faith and doctrine in order to instruct the gathering and to help prepare all to spend intimate fellowship in the Word of God and with one another.
What to Expect...
The Growth Group is a casual gathering where you are given the opportunity to grow in God's Word through discussion and meditation on God's goodness and the Biblical text. Every Wednesday at 7pm our Grace family meets at homes in Metairie to share, discuss, and ask God's blessing on the growth of Grace Community Bible Church. We meet with God in prayer, dive deeper into the truth proclaimed in the previous Sunday sermon and put our heads together as to how we can live out the Gospel in our own lives and in our church family as a whole.
Listen to Pastor's Shawn most recent sermon to prepare your heart and mind - then join us for spiritual advancement and renewal. Speak with a Grace elder to learn more about Growth Group meetings.
Don't settle for listening to God's Word. Live it!
