Christ in the Chaos

The Book of Judges

We are going to take a seven-week stroll with Jesus on the Road to Emmaus. While on this walk, we will see many ways that the Hebrew Scriptures pointed us to Jesus before His incarnation. This morning, we will look at the places in the book of Judges where the Angel of the LORD enters the narrative to provide grace, strength, and guidance to Israel during this age of chaos. These narratives help us to understand how Jesus is with us during those times when our lives are in chaos.

Jesus allows us to experience the consequences of our foolish behavior.

Jesus will always be with us as we experience the negative consequences of our foolishness.

Jesus calls on us to follow what we have already been told.

Leadership Meeting

The next Leadership Meeting will be this Sunday, March 15th immediately following the worship service. The next Elders Meeting will be on April 7th at 7:00 pm.

Drive Thru Prayer

The next Drive Thru Prayer will be on Saturday, March 21st, from 9:00 am to noon. Mark off that morning on your calendar so you can pray over our community.

Easter Weekend Worship

We will host a Good Friday on April 3rd at 7:00 pm to meditate upon the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and celebrate the Lord’s Supper to proclaim this work to the world.

On Sunday, April 5th, we will host our annual Easter Resurrection Breakfast at 9:00 am, followed by our worship service at 10:00 am. Invite friends and family to taste and see the power of the resurrection in our Easter celebration.

Ladies Lunch

The next Ladies Lunch will be on Saturday, April 18 at Caffe! Caffe! (4301 Clearview Pkwy). Join us at noon for soups, salads, sandwiches, and good conversation with friends. Ladies of ALL ages are welcome! RSVP to Jen Willson.
