Our Spiritual Armor
Ephesians 6:13-17
Our current sermon series looks at the unseen spiritual warfare surrounding our lives. We will learn the dangers set by our enemies around us and how Christ has empowered us to stand firm in this war. This morning, we look at the pieces of the armor of God to defend the church against the attacks of the devil. We will see the importance of defense in community and why our armor is meant to be used as a church body.
We must speak the truth of Christ with integrity.
We must dress in the righteousness of Christ and stand for justice.
We must stand in our wholeness in Christ and bring peace to others.
We must stand behind our faith to be shielded from Satan’s attacks.
We must put on the reality of our salvation every single day.
We must use the Word of God to combat the falsehood of the devil.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
ThanksGIVING
This month we will give by restocking the food pantry. We encourage everyone to bring shelf stable food donations. If you want to know what is best to bring, please speak with Diana Schexnayder or make a donation labeled “Food Pantry.”
We have also sponsored a family through the Community Center for Life to help provide them with a Merry Christmas. The gift tags are on the platform this morning.
Growth Group
There will be no Growth Group at the Thibodaux home on Wednesday. Growth Group will meet on Sunday night at 6:30pm.
Wednesday Prayer Meeting
There is no prayer meeting on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Christmas Events
This year’s Christmas dinner will be on Saturday, December 13th at 6:00pm and the Christmas Candlelight Service will be on Friday, December 19th at 7:30pm.
Drive Thru Prayer
Drive Thru Prayer on December 20th will include hot chocolate to any who drive thru!
Leadership Meetings
The next Leadership Meeting is on November 23rd immediately following the worship service.

Our Youth Group will meet this fall on November 23rd. Invite the 6th – 12th grade youth in your life to our friendly and supportive youth group. There will be caroling on Dec 7th.
